The preliminary evaluation of the article by the Associate Editor of Environmental Health and Pollution Research will take one week. In case of having the initial conditions and observing the format of the journal, the article will be submitted to review and otherwise returned to the author. In some cases, the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor may ask to modify the article and submit it again.

This journal aims to announce the results of judges' review and evaluation within 2 months. In some cases, this period may be longer. The deadline for the announcement is 3 months.

There is no APC for the manuscripts submitted until the end of 2026.
